Community. Education. Leadership.
Presented by: David M. Lobenstine, LMT
In this workshop, we will look first at the lower body, and in the process we will learn new ways to get out of the rut that we as therapists can all too easily get stuck in. Our focus here will be to tackle those familiar (but sometimes forgotten) muscles, and those all-too-familiar client complaints, but from unusual angles, and using unusual techniques.
Throughout the workshop, we explore our own body mechanics, and experiment with ways of working that are more efficient. As we try new things we realize which of our habits have become ossified – we realize the ways that we are stuck in a rut. By doing so, we simultaneously expand our technique toolbox to address client complaints in new and satisfying ways.
